What age is best for a baby photoshoot?
Two weeks and under is the usual age for a newborn shoot. At this age, they are more likely to sleep through the shoot. However, there is no one size fits all, so please don't worry if you are wanting to book outside of the two-week mark.
What room is best for the shoot?
When I arrive we can take a look around your house and work out the best spot for the shoot. I'll be looking for a place with good, natural lighting such as in the bedroom or living room. If you have a specific place in mind then I'll always try to make it work.
What to wear?
I recommend dressing your baby in neutral colours. A white body suit that covers the bottom would be perfect. Don't forget to bring an extra outfit just in case. As for Mum, wear anything you feel comfortable in that doesn't distract from the photo - I recommend neutral and earthy colours.
What happens if my baby gets hungry?
Creating a calm, relaxed atmosphere for you and the baby is my number one priority. That's why there are no time limits. If your bay gets hungry during the shoot we can simply take a break to feed.
